Rosberg eyes ‘many more years’ at Mercedes

 XPB Images Nico Rosberg says he plans on staying at Mercedes “for many more years”, as his current contract expires at the end of the current campaign. Autosport reports that the Formula One points leader has hired former grand prix winner Gerhard Berger to assist in the negotiations with the German manufacturer, having been part of its works outfit since 2010. Although Rosberg lost out to team-mate Lewis Hamilton in the last two Drivers’ championships, he has had the upper hand so far this year, with five wins in eight races and a 24-point cushion over the Briton in the standings.
