Tost expecting Sainz Jr. to stay at STR

Red Bull/Getty Images Toro Rosso team boss Franz Tost says he is expecting Carlos Sainz Jr. to remain with the outfit into 2017, and hopes Daniil Kvyat will also be retained. Sainz Jr. has been backed by Red Bull throughout his single-seater career and graduated to Formula 1 with Toro Rosso in 2015. Sainz Jr.'s opportunities with Red Bull appear limited, as both Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen are signed on long-term deals. However, Tost is confident that Red Bull will keep Sainz Jr. at the junior squad in 2017.
