Capito says despite changes same people remain in F1

Ahead of his late summer move to the McLaren F1 team, current VW motorsport boss Jost Capito says that technology on Formula 1 has changed since he left the role of chief operating officer of Sauber, but many faces in the paddock remain the same. Speaking at the FIA Sport Conference in Turin, Capito said, “When you come in the [F1] paddock you still see the same faces, just older. But I don’t see that because I’m older too! I don’t see a lot of changing; of course the cars change, the technology changes, but it’s still Formula One.” “I think Formula One is always attractive for manufacturers.
