Raikkonen: No point to defend from Perez

Scuderia Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen says there was no point fighting Sergio Perez on the final lap of the European Grand Prix due to the time penalty which he picked up earlier in the race. Raikkonen crossed the white line entering the pit lane and was slapped with a five second time penalty, before he pulled aside to allow team-mate Sebastian Vettel to pass. Raikkonen ran in third place but had an insufficient buffer to Perez in order to negate the impact of his penalty. Perez attacked Raikkonen on the final lap and the Finn ceded the position, coming across the line in fourth place.
