Hamilton 'doesn't see benefit' of radio rules after engine settings fiasco

European Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton says he couldn't join in with the podium battle due to being unable to resolve an engine settings problem during the race in Azerbaijan. Hamilton managed to work his way into contention for a podium position during the first stint of the race but seemed to lack pace after his first pitstop. It then became apparent that there was a bigger issue behind the scenes as Hamilton radioed in on several occasions to angrily proclaim that he couldn't figure out what was wrong. Mercedes were able to tell him that there was an ERS-related setting wrong with his car, but not the information required to fix it. The team had to discourage him from trying out...
