Rosberg on pole in Baku as Hamilton crashes out

Nico Rosberg has claimed pole position for the European Grand Prix whilst his team-mate Lewis Hamilton crashed during his Q3 run. The German's fastest lap was 1.42.758, and was some seven tenths clear of Sergio Perez who will drop five places on the grid. Lewis Hamilton meanwhile will start 10th on the grid for Mercedes, after he failed to register a representative time in Q3. Vettel and Ricciardo matched each other with the identical time, however thanks to the Red Bull driver setting his lap first, the Australian will take the honor of starting on the front-row.
