Jolyon Palmer: 'We made good progress with understanding the track'

Jolyon Palmer believes Renault Sport Formula 1 Team made good progress with understanding the Baku City Circuit. The Briton set a fastest lap time of 1:50.910 to finish the opening practice session in eighteenth behind the Scuderia Toro Rosso of Daniil Kvyat. He then improved on this time in Free Practice 2 to finish the session with a time of 1:47.794, finished behind the Sauber of Marcus Ericsson. Even though Palmer improved on his time, he was unable to increase his position out on track, he finished the session in twentieth.
