FIA confirms Pirelli as official F1 tyre supplier until end of 2019

The FIA announced that, following the renewal of its contract, Pirelli will remain as exclusive tyre supplier to the FIA Formula 1 World Championship for the period 2017-2019 inclusive. The new agreement includes provision for expanded tyre testing opportunities in order to meet the requirements of revised Formula One Technical Regulations for 2017. As part of the deal, Pirelli will also continue its road safety partnership with FIA through a variety of programmes and events organised by the Federation.
