Ericsson pleased despite barren run

– Marcus Ericsson described a "good effort" from Sauber despite he and the team extending its barren spell at the Canadian Grand Prix.Ericsson, who has not scored a point for 14 races, started the race from 21st position following a grid penalty but made progress and classified in 15th position.Ericsson explained that Sauber's struggle on the Ultra Soft tyres led to a strategy change, which ultimately enabled the Swede to gain positions during the closing stages at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve."For me it was a good race from the start to the finish," said Ericsson."I think the first stint on Ultra Soft tyres was not ideal, as I struggled a lot with the...
