Vettel admits to "tricky day" for Ferrari in Baku

Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel admitted his first experience of the Baku street circuit didn’t entirely go to plan as he ended up almost two seconds off the pace in practice on Friday. Vettel ended FP2 in eighth position, 1.996s slower than pacesetter Lewis Hamilton. Ferrari also hit trouble when Kimi Raikkonen suffered an MGU-K failure that caused him to go off down an escape road with his rear wheels locked. “Obviously it’s a shame one car had a problem,” said Vettel. “The car felt OK, the speed wasn’t quite there, so we need to have a look and see to be in better position tomorrow. “It’s not nice, it’s not good news [to be 2s off the pace].
