Palmer: Renault drivers are not crashers
Despite a spate of accidents this season, Jolyon Palmer insists he and Kevin Magnussen are 'not crashers', the RS16 is just a difficult car to drive. Both drivers have had several offs this season with Palmer hitting the barriers three times in Monaco, including a race-ending crash in the wet that destroyed his Renault. Magnussen has also had a few of his own, his most recent coming in final practice for the Canadian Grand Prix, a crash that meant he was not able to take part in the day's qualifying. But despite their troubles, Palmer is adamant they are 'not crashers.' He told Autosport: 'Obviously it doesn't make us look good if we crash the car, and when the car's difficult to drive...
