Pirelli announces tyre compounds for Malaysia

Pirelli has announced its tyre compound choices for the Malaysian Grand Prix, the 16th round of the 2016 season. The Italian manufacturer will take the soft, the medium and the hard tyres to the Sepang event. It will be the third time this year that Pirelli opts for that selection, having already chosen it for the Spanish and British Grands Prix. The hards are the mandatory tyres that need to be used at least once during the race, while the softs are the tyre selected for Q3.
