New F1 tyre pressure checks still some way off

The FIA says that potential new procedures for checking tyre pressures are still some way off, as it continues its investigation into what Formula 1 teams are up to. Since the Monaco Grand Prix, the FIA has asked teams to log all its running tyre pressure data, which is giving the governing body a good insight into what teams are up to when the cars are out on track. This comes against the backdrop of suspicions that some outfits have found clever ways to lower tyre pressures after the mandatory readings are taken.
