Raikkonen pins struggles on cool conditions
Scuderia Ferrari Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen says he struggled with the cool conditions throughout the course of the Canadian Grand Prix weekend. Raikkonen was able to qualify only sixth and converted his grid position at the finish line, while team-mate Sebastian Vettel led the race and secured second spot. Raikkonen says that the cool conditions led to problems with getting the tyres into the optimum operating window, a situation exacerbated by the need to save fuel. "It hasn't been an easy weekend, we tried to make the maximum out of that, but obviously we cannot be satisfied with the result," he said.
