Vettel happy despite missing win chance
Mercedes AMG Petronas Sebastian Vettel declared himself happy with Ferrari's performance at the Canadian Grand Prix despite missing out on a first victory of the season. Vettel surged into the lead at the start but Ferrari opted to utilise a two-stop strategy, while Mercedes stopped Lewis Hamilton only once at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. That enabled Hamilton to move into a lead which he would not relinquish, as Vettel finished the race in second position. "I had a fantastic start," beamed Vettel. "Lap 1 was a bit hairy, as I struggled to brake and to stop the car in the last corner. "It was very windy today, and I maybe struggled a bit with the wind from behind....
