Hamilton was "nervous" about tyre endurance

Lewis Hamilton admitted he was "nervous" about the endurance of the ultrasoft tyres in his first stint during the Canadian Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver stayed on track longer than his main rival Sebastian Vettel, as the German switched to the supersofts early to set up a two-stop strategy. Hamilton stopped just once, switching to the softs, with which he completed a 46-lap stint to win the Montreal race for the fifth time.
