Hamilton continues strong pace into FP2 in Canada

Lewis Hamilton continued his strong pace into Free Practice 2 for Mercedes AMG PETRONAS at the 2016 Canadian Grand Prix, setting the pace with a time of 1:14.212, which was faster than his 2015 pole position lap time. Hamilton finished the session ahead of the Scuderia Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel, with the German splitting the Mercedes team-mates as Nico Rosberg ended the session third, over half a second shy of his team-mate. Behind Rosberg was Red Bull Racing‘s Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo, who set fastest lap times of 1:15.156 and 1:15.168 respectively.
