Magnussen hopes Renault has fixed Monaco troubles

Kevin Magnussen says Renault was caught out by a new approach at the Monaco Grand Prix but is confident it will deliver a better performance in Canada this weekend. Renault had an upgraded power unit in Magnussen’s car but was also running some new aerodynamic parts which the team had been happy with from the post-race test in Barcelona. However, Magnussen complained about the car’s balance in the corners as a result in Monaco and felt the team could not get the new direction to work on the street circuit. “We went into the [Monaco] weekend with a very different car to what we normally have because we found some things in Barcelona,” Magnussen said. “There...
