FIA's Charlie Whiting 'pleasantly surprised' following final Baku inspection

The FIA's Charlie Whiting has hailed the new Baku City Circuit, which is set to host the European Grand Prix in just over a weeks time, following his final track inspection ahead of the race. Whiting last visited the circuit in mid-May when he predicted it would provide a 'fascinating race', but much of the work was still left to do to prepare the streets for the inaugural grand prix, though he remained confident it would be ready in time.
