Virtual Reality the 'next big thing' for F1

– Virtual Reality technology has the potential to transform the way Formula 1 coverage is consumed worldwide in the future, according to Formula 1 board member Sir Martin Sorrell.Williams, in association with Sky, has already trialled VR technology in Formula 1, producing short films that give viewers a 360-degree experience atop the car or inside the team garage.Sorrell, CEO of multinational advertising and public relations company WPP, and a long-time board member of Formula 1 shareholder CVC Capital Partners, reckons VR is the way forward."Virtual Reality for Formula 1 could be fantastic – driving the car!"
