Palmer gets new chassis for Canada after Monaco smash

Jolyon Palmer is set to take on his third chassis of the year in Canada after heavy damage to his Renault in a smash during the Monaco Grand Prix. The British F1 rookie lost control of his Renault on the main straight in wet conditions which left Palmer helpless to stop his car hitting the inside barriers and sliding into a second impact at Sainte Devote. After a thorough assessment of the damage, Renault has opted to give Palmer his third chassis of the season, after replacing his first one for the Spanish Grand Prix as the British driver struggled to get to grips with it.
