Magnussen: B-spec gains more visible in Canada

 XPB Images Kevin Magnussen believes the gains offered by Renault’s B-spec engine should be more evident at next weekend’s Canadian Grand Prix, given the power-sensitive nature of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Having spent three development tokens, the French manufacturer initially wanted to introduce its major upgrade in Montreal but early positive feedback led Renault to push and have it ready for Monaco. Both R.S.16s will be fitted with the enhanced engine in Canada after only Magnussen raced the evolution at the last championship round. “[Montreal] is a more power sensitive track than Monaco so the latest power unit should have more effect there,” the Dane said....
