Palmer a 'passenger' in Monaco accident

– Jolyon Palmer says he was merely a passenger as he crashed out of the Monaco Grand Prix as the first lap of green flag racing got underway in treacherous conditions.Palmer, who crashed twice across the free practice sessions, lost control of his Renault RS16 on the white line along the pit straight as racing got underway following several laps behind the Safety Car.Palmer suffered a heavy impact with the barriers and his trajectory took him into a secondary collision with the wall at Sainte Devote, though he was able to walk away from the wreckage."The traction was appalling after the Safety Car and I got caught out," he explained."I had wheelspin in fifth gear on...
