Wolff: Hamilton's slump motivated him

Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff has claimed that World Champion Lewis Hamilton’s Monaco Grand Prix victory was inspired on by his recent winless streak. Achieving his 44th career win, Wolff believes that Hamilton was motivated and eager to be back on the top step of the podium after suffering a series of mishaps and blemishes throughout the season. The Austrian also added that the Monte Carlos victory helped raise the team morale in the garage. 'These last couple of weeks have strengthened him and strengthened our relationship,' he explained.
