Nico Rosberg: “Today was a bad day for me”

Nico Rosberg had an off day at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, with the German unable to make it four consecutive wins at the circuit, ultimately finishing down in seventh. The Mercedes AMG PETRONAS driver had started on the front row of the grid for the race, but struggled for pace in the early stages of the race, losing considerable ground on race leader Daniel Ricciardo. Rosberg admitted to not being comfortable behind the wheel of his W07, and was unable to make any progress later in the race when the circuit dried up. “In racing you have good days and bad days,” said Rosberg. “Today was a bad day for me. I didn't have the pace to fight for the win and we need to understand why....
