Wolff says Hamilton relationship strengthened after struggles
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff believes his team's relationship with Lewis Hamilton has come through its recent struggles stronger than before, in the wake of the world champion returning to victory form. Hamilton delivered his first win since last year's United States Grand Prix in Monaco on Sunday with a well-judged drive and strategy in the tricky wet-dry race. Coming off the back of a run of reliability problems – which Hamilton claimed had become the 'norm – Wolff believes that the timing of the win could not have been better in terms of boosting driver-team relations. "These last couple of weeks have strengthened him and strengthened our relationship," explained Wolff....
