Raikkonen escapes penalty after Monaco crash Kimi Raikkonen escaped from penalty on Sunday following being accused of unsafe driving with his damaged Ferrari F1 car during the Monaco Grand Prix. Raikkonen crashed at the Mirabeau corner and he rejoined track with heavily damaged front-wing, the uncontrolled Ferrari touched Romain Grosjean’s Haas F1 car, and the French-man make heated criticism on team radio. The Finn drove it downhill and through the tunnel before abandoning it, with a broken front wing trailing, at the chicane.
