Ricciardo falls foul of Red Bull strategy blunder

Monaco Grand Prix – Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo led the Monte Carlo race convincingly in the early stages, but a pitstop error put paid to his race chances. Ricciardo, from pole position, had opened up a massive lead in the early stages of the race in the wet conditions, and kept his lead through the first round of stops to change to intermediates. However, the change to dry tyres saw the Red Bull left stranded on the jacks for precious seconds as the team scrambled to find tyres to fit on his car.
