Perez delighted with “tremendous” podium strategy

Sergio Perez has applauded his Force India team’s strategy calls that guided him to third place in the Monaco Grand Prix. Perez beat Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel in a straight fight for the final spot on the podium behind Lewis Hamilton and Daniel Ricciardo – having passed Nico Rosberg in the pitstops. “I am extremely happy, my team has done a tremendous job with the strategy, with the calls on the pitstops, it’s been an amazing day for us – my third podium for the team,” he said. “It’s very special one to have it in Monaco, especially in these race conditions. “I want to dedicate this podium to our boss Vijay Mallya, he has been very supportive in these times. “I think...
