– Lewis Hamilton came out on top in a battle with Daniel Ricciardo to take his first victory of the 2016 season in a wet/dry Monaco Grand Prix, slashing Nico Rosberg's championship lead in the process.After a Safety Car start, due to heavy rain, Hamilton stayed out longer than his rivals on the Full Wet tyre to gain crucial track position.Hamilton's first pit-stop was for slicks, rather than Intermediates, and he remained ahead of Ricciardo, whose tyres were not ready.Ricciardo did his best to overhaul the Mercedes driver, but Hamilton had enough in hand for his second win on the streets of Monte-Carlo.Sergio Pérez made up ground in the pit-stops to emerge third, and kept Ferrari's...
