Heavy rain falls in Monaco on race day

– As per pre-event forecasts, heavy rainfall arrived in Monaco on Sunday morning, which led to several incidents in the early Porsche Supercup race and an eventual red flag.Rain began to fall at around 06:00 local time, but intensified by 10:00, sparking chaos in the supporting Supercup encounter, with numerous drivers crashing out at Sainte Devote.As the situation became too dangerous, the race was red flagged.Further rain is expected throughout the remainder of the morning, but should improve in the afternoon, with the 78-lap Grand Prix scheduled to get under way at 14:00 local time.In full: Monaco Grand Prix starting grid
