Ricciardo: Pole on my mind all weekend
– Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo says that securing pole position was at the forefront of his mind as he entered the Monaco Grand Prix weekend.Ricciardo, who topped Thursday practice, sealed top spot in qualifying for the first time with a blistering Q3 effort on the Ultra Soft tyre.His lap of 1:13.622 put him 0.169s ahead of Nico Rosberg, with the second Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton a tenth and a half further adrift."I knew coming into weekend we'd have a shot at it [pole]," explained Ricciardo during the post-qualifying press conference."It looked good from [practice on] Thursday.
