Fuel pressure issue caused Hamilton Q3 stoppage

Monaco Grand Prix – Mercedes confirmed after qualifying that both cars had a fuel pressure issue at the start of Q3, which caused Lewis Hamilton to stop in the pit lane as the session began. The Briton had to be wheeled back the entire length of the pit lane to get him back to the garage to resolve the issue. He lost more than half the session before he could get out on track. Mercedes fuelled Hamilton for enough laps to continually run until the chequered flag, and it wasn’t until the final lap before the session ended that the world champion began to push.
