Raikkonen handed gearbox penalty for Monaco Grand Prix

Kimi Raikkonen will lose five places on the grid for this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix after his Scuderia Ferrari team were forced to change the gearbox on his SF16-H. The change was forced upon the team after issues during final practice on Saturday morning, primarily when the Finn's gearbox went into neutral. Raikkonen had finished ninth fastest in Saturday’s one-hour session, nine-tenths of a second down on pacesetting team-mate Sebastian Vettel, but the change of gearbox means he will find himself relegated five places on the grid after the conclusion of the all-important session around the streets of Monaco.
