Carlos Sainz left surprised by UltraSoft degradation

Monaco Grand Prix – Toro Rosso's Carlos Sainz was in the top ten throughout both practice sessions in Monte Carlo. Sainz finished the opening practice session in P10, completing 39 laps. Finding 1.2 seconds over lunch, he then went P6 in FP2, finishing the day just behind teammate Daniil Kvyat. “I enjoyed it a lot out there today!' said a happy Sainz afterwards, highlighting his happiness at getting the first day under his belt without issue. 'To have a smooth Thursday in Monaco is always important in order to build-up your confidence for the rest of the weekend.'
