Ricciardo, Magnussen get Renault upgrades

– Daniel Ricciardo and Kevin Magnussen will receive upgraded Renault engines this weekend, after the B-spec power unit was sampled during last week's test in Spain. Both Ricciardo and Magnussen, who sampled the upgrade at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, spoke warmly about the updates and urged Renault to bring forward its original date of a debut in Canada.Renault has obliged to their requests, though the short time frame available means only one power unit will be ready for each team.Max Verstappen and Jolyon Palmer will therefore face a performance deficit this weekend, with the pair set to receive the upgrade at the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix.
