Romain Grosjean currently outperforming car – Gene Haas

Gene Haas believes Romain Grosjean is achieving results that currently the VF-16 shouldn't be capable of. In the season-opener and debut for Haas F1 Team in Australia, the Frenchman finished in an impressive sixth. He then improved this by finishing the Bahrain Grand Prix in fifth. The last three Grand Prix though have been disappointing for Grosjean as he has struggled with the balance. At the Spanish Grand Prix, he suffered his first retirement with the American-led outfit after sustaining brake issues.
