Alonso: Monaco to test McLaren chassis

– Fernando Alonso expects to see where McLaren's chassis stands compared to its rivals at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix, with engine performance not so crucial.McLaren has been held back by power unit partner Honda since the two parties reunited last season and, although progress is being made, it remains adrift of rival manufacturers.At the previous round in Spain, McLaren was third fastest in the technical final sector, behind only Mercedes and Red Bull, which has given Alonso confidence for Monte-Carlo."Monaco is such a special place; I don't think there are many drivers in the world that can say they don't like racing there," commented Alonso, as he looked ahead to...
