Pirelli confirms compound choices for Hungary
Pirelli Media Formula 1 tyre supplier has confirmed the three compounds which will be used at the Hungarian Grand Prix in July. The Super Soft, Soft and Medium tyres will be available for drivers, the most popular allocation adopted by Pirelli so far in 2016. Of the 13 sets of tyres allowed for each driver, one set of Soft and Medium tyres must be set aside for the race, with a set of Super Soft tyres set aside solely for use in Q3. Of the remaining 10 sets, drivers are permitted free choice from the three compounds selected by Pirelli.
