Verstappen tops second Barcelona test day

Red Bull/Getty Images Max Verstappen continued his strong form by leading the pack on the second and final day of in-season testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Verstappen clocked a time of 1:23.267 on the Soft tyres to finish 0.739s faster than McLaren's Stoffel Vandoorne, with Mercedes' Pascal Wehrlein in third. Esteban Gutierrez placed fourth for Haas, ahead of Antonio Fuoco, who received a run out as part of his Ferrari development programme. Toro Rosso gave a full day in the car to Daniil Kvyat and he classified in sixth, before his run was ended prematurely by a suspected engine failure.
