Ricciardo 'impressed' by new-spec Renault engine
Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo admitted he was quite 'impressed' by the gains made by Renault on their new engine, and is eager Red Bull run the upgrade in the coming Monaco Grand Prix. The engine upgrade was initially scheduled for the power sensitive Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, but with impressive gains during winter testing, Ricciardo is eager that the French manufacturer gives the all clear to use the power unit for the Monaco GP, where Red Bull are expected to shine, thanks to the slow corners and lack of straights.
