Magnussen hopeful of new Renault PU for Monaco: 'There's more power'

Barcelona Testing – Renault's Kevin Magnussen drove with the new spec Renault power unit on Wednesday, and says the engine is a step forward from the old one. Renault are intent on introducing their new spec power unit for the Canadian Grand Prix, a move that will see the factory team and Red Bull receive the updated engines. However, there is a possibility that it could be introduced for Monaco provided that Barcelona testing proves positive. Both Daniel Ricciardo & Esteban Ocon were enthusiastic about the first day of running on Tuesday.
