Raikkonen: I tried everything to pass Verstappen

Kimi Raikkonen says he “tried everything” to try and pass Max Verstappen and take victory at the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix. Verstappen became F1’s youngest ever race winner when he crossed the line six tenths clear of Raikkonen at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Raikkonen moved up to second with a two-stop strategy, finishing ahead of the three-stopping Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo. But he struggled to get close enough to pass Verstappen in the closing stages. 'I'm happy for Max, disappointed for myself, but that's racing,' he explained after the race.
