Raikkonen: Final sector scuppered win prospect

Ferrari Media Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen says second was a good recovery from a poor start but rued poor traction exiting the final corner, denying him the chance of challenging Max Verstappen for victory at the Spanish Grand Prix. Raikkonen lapped within a second of Verstappen throughout the final stint of the race but was unable to follow the Dutchman through the final chicane, losing ground entering the pit straight. Raikkonen was never close enough to try a move on Verstappen, despite his proximity to the Red Bull driver, and came home in second.
