Ricciardo says Red Bull strategy “didn’t make sense”

Spanish Grand Prix – Daniel Ricciardo has slammed Red Bull’s strategy choice for the race after missing out on a potential victory in Spain. The Australian led the race after the two Mercedes crashed out on the opening lap. At first it looked as though both Red Bulls would be going for a two-stop strategy, whilst rivals Ferrari were on a three-stop. But Ricciardo was called in early to cover off Sebastian Vettel, who was the lead Ferrari at the time.
