Hamilton elated after return to top spot

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton described himself as "very, very happy" after he returned to top spot by claiming pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix. Hamilton trailed team-mate Nico Rosberg throughout the three practice sessions at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, and went on to make a mistake on his first Q3 run. However, Hamilton improved on his second run and moved to the front, with Rosberg unable to respond during the closing stages. "I'm very, very happy getting the lap," he said.
