Vettel heads Ferrari 1-2 – FP1 Report

Spanish Grand Prix – Sebastian Vettel led a Ferrari 1-2 in first practice at the Circuit De Catalunya. Click here for the complete results from FP1. The Ferraris, equipped with the Soft tyre, put in times good enough to take the first two positions in FP1. Ahead of the two Mercedes drivers, the difference was 0.5 seconds between the lead Ferrari of Vettel and the lead Merc of Rosberg, although Mercedes never ran the Soft tyre, instead choosing to run the Mediums for their fast laps. The first fifteen minutes saw a flurry of installation laps taking place, with the only times being set by the two Mercedes drivers.
