Spanish GP: Vettel leads Ferrari 1-2 in opening practice

Sebastian Vettel led a Ferrari 1-2 in opening practice for the Spanish Grand Prix, as the Italian team was the only one to use soft tyres. Vettel's best of 1:23.951 put him 0.138s clear of teammate Raikkonen, both men using the softest rubber available to set their times. Nico Rosberg finished third in the Mercedes, ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton, but the duo only used the medium tyres during the 90 minutes of running at the Spanish track. Daniel Ricciardo completed the top five in the quickest Red Bull, although nearly 1.5 seconds off the pace.
