Ocon to make Mercedes test debut in Spain
Daimler Media Esteban Ocon will make his Mercedes Formula 1 bow during next week's test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, doubling up with his duties as Renault's reserve driver. Ocon will participate in free practice for Renault at the Spanish Grand Prix, before receiving a day's worth of running in the RS.16 on Tuesday, after which he will switch focus to Mercedes. Mercedes confirmed to F1Zone.net that, after championship leader Nico Rosberg drives on Tuesday, Ocon will pilot the W07 Hybrid on Wednesday.
