Ocon to make Mercedes debut at Barcelona
Ocon to make Mercedes debut at Barcelona Double chance for reigning GP3 champion Esteban Ocon, having been confirmed for Renault Friday practice run for Spanish GP, and he will also drive the Mercedes W07 in the post-race Formula 1 test at Barcelona. The French speedy will take over from championship leader Nico Rosberg, who is set to drive on the first day in Barcelona. Mercedes junior driver and 2015 GP3 champion Ocon has been loaned to Renault as third and reserve driver role, currently driving for Mercedes in DTM.
